Employee engagement isn’t just another one of those ‘buzzwords’ used by management consultants. It is a significant business concept that has direct effect on the company’s profitability. Communication, trust and mutual respect are critical to successful employee еngаgеmеnt. Employers on the other hand have to be confident that employees take ownership of their job, work effectively and offer real value to the business.
Surveys have shown that companies with engaged employees have higher productivity. In addition, highly engaged employees have a considerably lower rate of absence in comparison with non-engaged employees. Therefore, it would not be a surprise that engaged employees enjoy their job longer and are more productive, which contributes to future success for both employee and employer.
